Ashley Greene is featured in the august issue of Elle magazine, she is the fashion spotlight. Vampire vixen—and budding sex symbol—Ashley greene proves she’s a creature of the night in the season’s Gothy lace-and-fur regalia
In her now-immortal novel Twilight, Stephenie Meyer describes Alice Cullen, sister of tween dream Edward, as a “devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful” pixie vampire with “obsidian eyes” and an “exquisite, elfin face.” Most actors would rather not admit that casting decisions were based on anything other than their craft, but 23-year-old Ashley Greene—who brought Alice to life in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and this summer’s Eclipse and is signed on for next year’s Breaking Dawn—has no such illusions. “Yes, I’m very thankful that Stephenie Meyer wrote a character that I happen to look like,” says Greene with a laugh. Given the series’ rabid “Twihard” fan base—legions of whom were locked in long before the film’s first scene was shot—if Greene hadn’t been an eerily perfect fit for Alice, the filmmakers would have heard about it. “The fans were already there,” Greene says. “Before they knew Ashley Greene, they knew Alice Cullen, and they all had an idea of how she looked.”

Ashley is on the cover of Asos Magazine, the July issue. Some gorgeous new photos are featured in the magazine and Ashley looks so freaking stunning, she also did an interview for the magazine, talking about her personal style, twilight and more. On spazzing when Twilight came calling: “I was 20 when I got cast in Twilight. I was still working at this restaurant in LA called The Belmont Cafe and I was reading the books while I was there. I freaked out when they told me I’d got the role, like, holy crap, this might change my life! I don’t feel that anyone could have expected this though. It’s still insane and I still have to pinch myself.”
On just why she’s looking for a place to chill in New York: “The other day, I had eight paparazzi following me. For what? To watch me eat ice cream? It’s just silly. You can say it’s something that comes with the job, and it’s what everyone wants, for people to know who you are. When you can’t function in your everyday life and you can’t walk around without something being stated, it’s unnecessary and it takes away from what we’re here to do. It’s why I’m looking for an apartment in New York. There is so much more going on — there’s the music scene and Wall Street and I really don’t think everything would drop just because I walked in a room. It’s nice.”

Alice doesn’t seem to fight like the other vampires. What makes her different?
”Alice is lithe, like a dancer, so we did much more of a Cirque du Soleil spin on Alice’s fighting, which was really cool. I grew up with a martial-arts background, plus I did acrobatics and tae kwon do. It was great to get back to that world.”

For the August issue of Vanity Fair, Norman Jean Roy photographed the spooky beauties of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse—five vampires (Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Bryce Dallas Howard) and one lone lady werewolf (Julia Jones). Nancy Jo Sales was on set, where, between takes, the girls mused on the gothic romance that has everyone palpitating.
Ashley Greene, who plays psychic vampire Alice, anticipates success: “You don’t have to be psychic to know how this movie’s going to do,” she says. “Obviously, it’s going to be a hit.”
InStyle photographed some of Hollywood’s hottest for their annual Sexy issue – June 2010 (view scan here), and they have posted some online-only photos. Ashley is featured on the list so there was a new image of her. She looks very pretty!
Ashley Greene on Feeling Sexy
“I feel most beautiful at night when I take my makeup off and it’s just me. I don’t get to see that a ton,” Twilight Saga star Ashley Greene told us. “It’s just come about in the last few years. I wasn’t quite as confident when I was younger.”
Ashley have a feature in the June issue of InStyle magazine and she looks so freaking cute in it. I have added a HQ scan to the gallery. Hopefully we will find outtakes from this shoot soon, so we can add them. For now you can enjoy this amazing scan of Miss Greene.
Today at the store I saw that Ashley Greene is featured inside People’s Most Beautiful People issue (cross covers with Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts). She is photographed without make-up, looking insanely gorgeous! (total envious here!) For now you can check out a small preview on JustJaredJr.com. We’ll try to have a large scan for you soon.
“My favorite feature is probably my eyes. My mom is always saying that you smile with your eyes and if you look at someone and you’re speaking, you’re really engaging.”
Ashley continued, “When I’m acting, they’re kind of a big part of what I do.”
Ashley is not only on the Korean issue of Nylon, she will also be on the may issue for the american Nylon, along with Vanessa Hudgens and Portia Doubleday. Ashley Greene, on Paparazzi: “Yeah, I know their cars. Bit there’s always people sitting outside my house. I put my own security system in my apartment because you have to worry about people getting a little too obsessed.”
Ashley Greene, on the new Young Hollywood: “We’re not all crazy! … I feel like that whole generation, that’s dying down now, thinks they’re higher than God and can do whatever they want. [Young Hollywood] now are people who really love the business.”
Before getting booked at Twilight:“There were a lot of little things along the way that happened just as my parents would say ‘Ok, its time to come home and go to college…So I built a resume that I could, you know, embellish a little.”
On Breaking Dawn: “If they make one, let’s be honest, I’m gonna do it.”
